Bambactus

Where we began

People bring different experiences to a shared place. Spending time there can give them something to learn from together, including the land and living things around them. Bambactus asks what a home can offer as a place for this kind of learning, where people have room to exchange ideas and try them in practice.

How we approached it

Bambactus brings a home and a community lab together. It offers a setting for exchange and experimentation, with relationships between people and nature at the centre of the learning. The project explores regenerative education through this setting: how learning might help people understand and care for the place they share. The homestead gives that question an everyday context in which to be explored.
